In 2023, Arrow Radisch completed an artistic residency at La Maison de la Chapelle in the South of France, to explore what felt like a seamless transition into sculpture and painting – an essential shift in her career as an artist. The themes she most often finds herself exploring include the environment, form vs function, and connectivity vs isolation. Her residency allowed her to focus on bringing to life new sculptures and paintings that have been a long time in the making through studies of shape, photography, and design renderings. In expanding her sculptural photography practice, a body of work not limited to painting and sculpture evolved, celebrating a study of shape, interplay, texture and tension. The artist used the historical setting of the residency set in an 11th century Monastery for this particular series composed of 15 fine art prints (acrylic paint on photographs).
